CAD M179 mic....

Hey, I have been asking for a bit now about mic's and one mic recording, mostly sudio vibe....anyhow, I stumbled upon the CAD M179....any scoop on this? #At about $200 and what appears to be made in Ohio, I like what I see....yet it is what I hear that will be the big deal....ok, that is it for now, watz up with the M179, and no it ain't related to the M79, a 40 mm bloop tube, dy.

Your questions here are great because they are asking folks who have used mics in similar situations that you will use them. But have you ever done searches over at
rec.audio.pro newsgroup? (http://groups-beta.google.com/group/rec.audio.pro) Seach the mic you're looking at, and read the threads. Other mic considerations might pop up there, too. Good Luck. Dave
