I was wondering about some of these, ICD-P28, MZ-B10 and the like, can the headphone out jack be used for an
"output" say to my Alesis mixer...and then its' USB to my PC, for a future WAV file...in other words, I'd like to record with a $50 - $100 digital voice machine, and then use my mixer for some effects, then to the PC, yet the PC issue is last on my list....Ultra mini recording studio? Thanks, dy.

I think you could do your mixing and sound effects on the PC
Mine uses the usb to download and upload. I hook up the headphone jack to the input on other radios or the unpowered input on the amp. My wife picked up a minidisc deck for the home stereo, she records music for the theatre for their performances on the mini sonce there is a deck in her sound booth.
