Has anyone played the new Mandola or octave mandolins from Michael Kelly ? Yea, I know their imports, and I have my U.S. made mandolin, but It's nice to see an F style mandola or octave for under 1500.00......But how do they sound? And/or with a better set up ? #I've got a nice old flat top flatiron mandola, I wonder how the sound of the MK mandola would compare........Just wondering..
