Restringing a mandolin

Hi everyone,

I've been playing mandolin for about six months now and it's come time to change strings. I was able to remove them after unscrewing the tail piece but I can't figure out the pattern to connect the new strings back in. If anybody could walk me through this or point me to a web resource it would be greatly appreciated.

The fact that the pattern isn't readily apparent suggests that it might be helpful to tell us what kind of mandolin, or at least what kind of tailpiece, you have.
