My 9 fits like a glove in the new case.There is plenty of storage,2 compartments plus a zippered pouch on the exterior.I purchased it from Fine Cases. Lp
Mine only has 2 compartments. Where is the 3rd? Either I never noticed or maybe the case has changed.

Looks real nice. Is that one of those hygrometer jobbies? What do these cases sell for?

Yeah its a hygrometer.I removed the actual humidistat. Don't really think lack of humidity is an issue here in NC.Purchaseing without the extras was not an option.Folks always ask what they are at jams.I tell em and most em say "huh?" http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif Lp

Kevin its flash.There is a shinny place on the point side above the F hole from finger contact with the top.My 9 is two years old and well broken in. Lp
