I thought I would post this and I did bid on it but I only bid $15.00 because I already have a spare one and thought I would give someone a chance to get one of these. I have had several emails in the past asking where one could buy a Hot Dot and they are rare to find. So here you go and I don't have any financial interest at all.

I didn't think anybody wanted these any more. I still have one somewhere in a violin bridge, and the "little red box" that goes along with it if I could find it.

I have a bridge top that I inlayed 2 of those into. #They come out the front side of the saddle under the strings and are wired to a stereo mini-plug with a flat spot ground on it that mounts to the underside of the pickguard. #Patch it to a stero fader/preamp for desired balance...A pretty cool set-up for the time (1978) Now of course Sam Bush just wedges his between the saddle and base http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
