Hello--I am not using my Rigel A-Plus Deluxe for travel because I am afraid of dinging up the tweed case. I have seen the covers they make for these, but do they protect the case from dings? I don't know if I am ready to put out the cash for a Calton case. I have a Travelite that is made for an F style that I like, but the Rigel just sits in there with little protection.
Any ideas?
Fred

Bobelock makes a padded case cover that will fit the Rigel case (I sold one to a guy in Canada last year). Black, sturdy zipper, leather carrying handles and shoulder strap. Very nice, very professional looking. Send me an email and I'll tell you more about it.

A form fitting case should do the job, inside, perhaps, add a few mattress foam blocks to keep it from shifting inside the case, I stuck a 3/4" piece inside the archtop TKL case I have , foam length 2/3 , and it holds the instrument down in its pocket. no shifting,
wrap the neck with a soft cotton bandana too.
