Just saw this duo last night (12/30) in a small setting, maybe 15 people. Very talented and personable folks! If you get a chance to see them, don't miss it!
sorry 'bout the typo in the title

Steve, I corrected the typo.
She's new to me too. I'd guess from the gigs they're getting that she's pretty darn good. Austin isn't a town where you get gigs easily. There's a ton of big talent in that city. Just ordered her latest CD from amazon.com this morning and look forward to giving it a listen. Suspect there's plenty of folks on here familiar with her. Like to hear more about her.

Saw her open the show for Ralph Stanley awhile back here in Wichita, a real nice surprise. Her and her brother put on a good show. Hope to hear more from her.

Not too hard on the eyes, either. And a nice selection of tunes.
I've learned about some good music here, so I try to order when people suggest things that sound interesting. I noticed you can jump for her site to a retailer I wasn't familiar with -- Lone Star Music -- to purchase her CD's. Once there, I also saw they have a Robert Earl Keen DVD on sale for $9.99. Awesome. I'm a huge fan of REK.
Thanks for the heads up.

The road goes on forever.....
Off topic, but I've just discovered the cd baby website. Lots of independent artists in every genre and you can listen to most songs on any cd before you buy.

Listened to some of her clips off of Lone Star Records. Nice sound, and she's got a great voice!
Anyone hear more of the CD? On the clips I listened to, all she did was chop. Wondered if she played more of the mando. The Gallatin does sound nice though.

We got a CD at the show and its great! The original tunes are pretty cool. She does more than just chop. Seth is an awesome flatpicker too. They are the real deal in their early 20's at that!

mmukav,
Check out cdbaby.com - You can hear all the songs on her cd. Really tasteful mando playing and I love the cover of "Jeremiah Johnson" - theme from the classic film.

Checked out Jeramiah Johnson, you're right. Tasty mandolin, and I did like the guitar too.
She sounds great! Thanks.

Here's the CD Baby page (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bleigh3) for her latest.
