Hello, this is partly mando-related.
I'll be visiting Sacramento and Nevada City, CA from 12/24 to 12/28. Gonna meet up with some folks I used to play in a band with. I am a bass player, and am learning mando. My buddies want me to play bass, but I am not going to bring it on the airplane.
Anyway, are there any area pickers that have a bass they could lend/rent for a few days? I could potentially bring a nice mandolin (worth about $1,500 or so) to leave with you as a deposit.
I would NOT want to take a really nice bass.
