I'm looking for a strap that will go from end pin to heel pin on an A style. Sully's Strap has been recommended but there must be others out there that I haven't found. Any suggestions?
I like the Webb strap. It's fairly wide which makes it comfortable. They sell them at elderly and fqms. I think they're about $30 but i think they're worth it.

You could use a regular guitar strap but they're too wide.
What is the Sully's strap?

Braid three 72-in long shoelaces together and voilla - a strap. Your choice on using rawhide or other type of lace (or a combination thereof for the multicolor look). About $5.00 in materials and an hour removed from practice time - but worth it!

I've bought a couple of straps for $10 each from a guy who sometimes sells them on eBay. They're excellent and inexpensive. I use one just as you intend to. Let me know if you want his email address.
