Does anyone know of any shops in or around Allentown, Pa. that might stock
a nice selection of new and used mandolins? Also woud like to find a good repair/set up
person in the area.
Thanks

Guitar world may have a few. They are around Nazareth, Pa about 10 to 15 minutes from Allentown. I went into a music store around HH Greggs by the LV Mall. They cater to the rock crowd. One cheap A model. Good luck.

Gotcha covered: Meadowood Music (http://www.meadowoodmusic.com/) in Blandon, about half an hour from Allentown. Weber, Breedlove, Big Muddy and Eastman mandolins, and Mike does amazing setup and repair.

also for repair and setup try http://www.guitarparlor.net/ in Reigelsville, PA about 15 minutes south of Easton. She recently did a setup on my goldrush and it is better than ever.

Not many mandolins for sale here in the Valley... Wolfboy is right with Meadowood. If you want to play a lot of mandolins go to mandolin brothers in Staten Island, you can spend a day there.

Are you looking at a particular brand? Price? or for a particular type of music? I live in central PA.

I was hoping to try out some Webers and Meadowood has them in stock.
