I have a Pegasus case. I really like it, but knew when I got it that its size and easily portability was a trade off for limited internal storage.
I've been told that I should look at a Small Dog case cover and have some questions.
For you owners of both, how good does the Peg case fit inside the Small Dog? Do you have to take Pegasus out of the Small Dog every time you open the case or can you just unzip the SD?
Can the Peg carrying strap be used while the Peg is inside the Small Dog?
Thanks

The cover's best feature is keeping that nice Pegasus paint job without scratches. I know for some a beat up case that looks like it has traveled around the world is a badge of honor, but the Peg's are so beautiful IMO I want to preserve that finish. It fits good, has a strap, one zippered pocket, maybe for music books & thin items, but doesn't add tons of storage. You need to unzip all the way & open the cover wide to get at all the buckles, especially on the hinged side. Kinda a hassle, but I like it for protecting the case...... YMMV.
Here is a quick Pegasus story. I have Caltons too & this has only happened with the Peg. I was in the Boise Airport, coming home from visiting Lawrence Smart & Becky Smith & a fella comes up & says "Mr. Grisman, can I have your autograph?".....I guess it obviously looks like a mandolin in the case & I have a beard.....I signed it The Dawg......didn't want to disappoint that young fella.

Art, If I'd have known that I'd have had you sign lots of stuff that day in Benicia - and sell 'em to cafe folks, or maybe on e-bay.

My Pegasus fits into a Colorado case as if made for it.

jaybee,
Never heard of Colorado cases. Similar to Small Dog?
Pockets?
Thanks

My Peg fits wonderfully inside a Colorado case cover. I recommend their case cover for the Pegasus. Rich M.
