Lurked here off & on for awhile. I have seen some great instruments and learned quite a bit from y'all. I'm primarily a bass and guitar builder and repair tech, but the lil' buggers have gotten my curiosity up and we use them on some of our studio work.

Here are some pics of a "no-name" oval I recently picked up and will do a mild clean-up resto on it and then play it and admire it on the wall in our music room. Maybe some of you will have an idea what I have here and can share your thoughts with me.

Very nice find, I would tell you to run while you can but I can see it's already too late so welcome to the Mandolin Cafe (the great enabler of Mandolin Acquisition Syndrome a.k.a. MAS) BTW, Scroll Envy will be the next symptom you will experience once that gets a grip on you there will be no hope. :)) :crying: :mandosmiley:

Had GAS and now MAS - have an old tater-bug coming in the mail this week - pics to come ASAP.
