"Kyle Wood has been a musical innovator for many years and already has a unique legacy in the bluegrass and acoustic music world. Now, he's taking the mandolin in a new direction by fusing it with pop and rock. The result is not only interesting, it's refreshing."

Eric Brittingham/Cinderella - Double Platinum Hard Rock/Metal Bassist

"Kyle Wood is an incredibly talented mandolin artiste'. His high lonesome vocals are electrifying! Here is a man who has the ability to transform a Beatles’ or a metal song into a totally unique interpretation. I can truly give this Kyle my highest recommendation. Ya just got to hear him!"

Ernie Winfrey, Engineer for Paul McCartney's Nashville Sessions, 1974

"Kyle has a great sound there, Steve. Listened to "Cry" - man, I love the harmonies in the chorus and that mando in the break. Lovely!"

I traveled in a Beatles tribute band years ago and we used to do Junior's Farm. I talked to Denny Laine of Wings about those sessions. John Lennon said that Junior's Farm proved that McCartney could rock! :))

Anyway, I'm a Bluegrasser now! :mandosmiley:

Very cool, Mick. Kyle is going in the opposite direction - from newgrasser with Nashville's Crucial Smith (Tim May, Dave "Doc" Holladay, Chris Joslin - produced by NGR's Pat Flynn) to rock mandolinist. But it's all good, of course.
