MOB isn't available on CD to my knowledge, but CDs exist that were transferred from vinyl, and sound pretty good...
I may or may not have one around here that I could burn you a copy from... #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Quite a few tracks from MOB were on one of the wonderful box sets that were released in the past ten years, but I don't think all of the tracks were included....
I'd love to see MOB released as a CD...
It's one of my favs right now...
Also, be sure to do a seach for "Master of Bluegrass" on these pages. #There was a thread about a year or two ago that had some wonderful antidotes about the recording of MOB, including a post by Larry Sledge, who played mandolin on the LP, that was facinating.
As I remember, he said the whole LP was recorded in 7-8 hours, and had some other cool insights on the project...

Altho it was recorded in digital format, consensus opinion is that it only appeared in analog/vinyl format. I do recall reading that certain parties did have an original copy of it in CD format. I myself have never found one or seen it.
