If you currently have a bunch of D'Addario Players Points lying around, you may want to act quickly on this. I ordered another of the wooden stools and got this nice picker's stool that also acts as an instrument stand.

OK, let me put in my 2¢ on that combined stool/instrument stand: I bought one, used it for a couple months, then it collapsed under me just before a gig. Now I'm pretty heavy, 250+ pounds, so for many people this might not be an issue; when I took it back to the store where I bought it, Dave Stutzman looked at the welded joints, and said, "I'd say 175 pounds, tops."
Now I'm using some cheap Wal-Mart folding stools that seem sturdy enough. I think that the "combination" construction may make this stand a bit more flimsy. I have a (lighter) friend who got one and reports no problems. Just a word to the wise (and the wide)...
