I would appreciate it if someone would help me with the chord progression to this part of this Beatle's song. I'm in a time crunch and don't have time to figure out all of the chords. The 1st line sounds like I - V7 and the 3rd sounds like I - IV but I could use a little help with the 2nd and 4th lines.

Thanks

When I get older, losing my hair, many years from now
Will you still be sending me a valentine, birthday greetings, bottle of wine?
If I'd been out 'til quarter to three, would you lock the door?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me when I'm sixty-four?

I .................................................. ................ V
When I get older, losing my hair, many years from now
V................................................. ......................................... I
Will you still be sending me a valentine, birthday greetings, bottle of wine?
I ............................................. I7 ..................... IV
If I'd been out 'til quarter to three, would you lock the door?
IV .............. IV#dim . I ............. VI7........II7 ........ V7 .. I
Will you still need me, will you still feed me when I'm sixty-four?

Instead of that IV#dim, you can use II7, or better yet, II7 without its root note - it's the same notes.

Glad you didn't ask for the chords for the bridge! ;)

Jon & JB -

Thanks for the question AND the reply! I had started on this back in August, planning on it for a September gig that was on, uhmm, a personally significant date! Then life got in the way... Yep, I was making other plans!

But hey... Better late than never!
