Intending no disrespect, I nevertheless must ask what the utility of this object (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10179&item=3755368824&rd=1) is.
No crank, so it doesn't really make the tuner knobs easier to turn. So what's the point?

Can you imagine whipping one of those out at a jam to tune up? The banjo players would even think you were stupid! It never ceases to amaze me what gets marketed to musicians.

Hmmmmm ? Does seem a bit odd , kinda like having a extention to a socket with no socket wrench! Not real handy. However if you clamp on a set of vise grips to the "twister" then.....oh nevermind

or a 1/4" hex for your electric screwdriver, maybe it can double as s Bodran beater?

I'm thinking of selling specially crafted tuning gloves:

These will greatly enhance your ability to tune quickly and efficiently, and will instantly gain you recognition from professional players.

Humph! Do you really think that we evil banjoists would waste time on such things as that? We're too busy speeding up the tempo and overpowering everyone! Must be a bass player thing. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
