Hello,

Just wanted to give a review of the Roland AC-60 amp. I brought it to practice last night and the band was HUGELY impressed. My impression was that it brought out a true acoustic tone and the fellows agreed. Very clean and natural sounding (I had been looking for that for a while).
It made playing easier because the sound that I was used to hearing playing unplugged was now there and it was LOUD!
I had been looking for a small amp (I play electric guitar as well and have too much stuff to bring to gigs already). I also needed a line out to run into the board. You can check out the specs on Roland's website.
And I found it at BPMMusic.com for over $100 less than anywhere else.

I agree!!! I love this amp, my entire band uses em, the fiddle player and I both use schertler's with the AC-60 and place it in front of us on stage as a monitor. I use channel 1 for my electric mando w/ magnetic pickup and channel 2 for my acoustic.

I think it's an exceptional amp and the built in effects are very good too. It's a very true representation of the actual acoustic sound of the instrument.

Just got mine today and will cast my vote in favor of this little box too! I'll probably not use it all that much but for the odd gig where I need to work with a drummer I can tell it will be a lifesaver

... again just a first impression, but so far it strikes me as being a true marvel of modern electronics! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Will someone please post a negative review of the AC-60. I need someone to talk me out of getting one.
