"charlie" era ferns top & back curvature

Is the exterior curvature of the top and back plates of Gibson Ferns made since 1999 patterned after the carving forms with a higher arch Gibson used after 1925 & 26 or the original Loar forms. I know they use white binding and the more reddish sunburst to make them look more historically accurate, but they aren't really supposed to be copies of mid-20's Ferns, are they?
