How cool. A couple of the tunes feature one Mike Scap (Scaparelli?), who I think was the first Hot Rize guitar man, before Charles. Figure The Ophelia Swing band was ~ 1976,77. And this was around the time of Tim's Guess Who's In Town recording, has some wonderful tunes, like Cadillac The Town In My Model A.

Great stuff. I have copies of these I had transferred from LP to CD several years ago. Believe these have been out of print for a long time but are (as I understand it) just now available as downloads from amazon.com and possibly other places. Someone posted this on Facebook which was how I found out about it.

I was a big fan of that band, too. Fun and snazzy. As I recall, Tim plays a killer version of "Blue Eagle" on Swing Tunes album.

Is there anyone who doesn't like swing music? I mean we all have other kinds of music we love better but swing is hard not to like at least a little, don't you think?
