Just picked up the new Black Crowes double album, Croweology. All acoustic, covers their 20 years of playing. Some nice fiddle and mandolin in there to reflect their more recent releases. Well worth a listen.

I have been listening to the Crowes since the beginning, so every album release is a welcome one. Croweology is no exception. That said (and after many listens)---the mando content is kinda light, especially after raising the stakes on last year's BTF.../...ATF releases. The reworking of "Share the Ride" may be the best of the lot to spotlight Luther Dickinson's mandolin work.
