Coming this Summer "Grass Trek"! Follow William Shatner as he simultaneously portrays Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass, and Captain James Kirk, his signature role. Supported by literally hundreds of anonymous, red-shirted Bluegrass Boys; Monroe/Kirk negotiates the treacherous interstellar festival circuit, guided by his manager/first officer, Spock Rinzler.

Captain's log, stardate 7.9.1923: We arrived too late to intervene in a deadly clash of civilizations on a previously unknown planet in the Gamma quadrant. The opposing forces of Bluegrass and Old-Time appear to have obliterated almost every trace of each other. People, buildings, communication systems, archives ... thoroughly destroyed. This strange implement, which our away team found hidden in a cave, is our only clue to the planet's history.
