Is this case any good of the price?
It will be for my first mandolin about a $800 instrument.
I want this style. Square and able to throw around your shoulder and go.
I hate how the vinyl on my TKL tears on my Acoustic guitar case.
ANY other suggestions w/out breaking the bank. I am already struggling b/c of the Mando purchase.
Peace! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif
They look great to me. Seems like a great value.

I have one of these and it is pretty good. Light, quite protective. Not quite the protection of a hardshell case, but a good value for the money.

Yes. It is a fine case for festivals. You can strap it to your back and ride a bike with it. It will not close correctly with a thick strap on the mando and the tone guard comes off because o the tihgt fit when you try to remove the mando from the case. Otherwise...I like mine.

Couldn't link to your case pics, but if it's like mine, a Travelite, it's great for what you describe.

I considered one of those as well. I couldn't get past the kangaroo pouch looking thing on the side. I did look at and really liked the TKL zero gravity case. For some reason there is a 6 to 8 week wait on those. I have one of the Eastman fiberglass cases. My only gripe is the lack of a space for a tuner in the Eastman case. Other than that its da bomb!! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/coffee.gif Lp

I have been emailing this eBay seller for asbout a month about the specs for one of his uke cases. He still hasn't answered after 3 emails. I think he sells tons of stuff and can't be bothered with details.
I won't buy anything from someone who won't answer a simple question.
Too bad because the price is pretty good for his cases.
