Wolfhead Music (http://www.wolfheadmusic.com) is issuing a call for compositions for mandolin as part of our Mandolin Project 2005. We are planning to begin publishing music for mandolin in solo or small chamber settings and anticipate adding a number of new mandolin works to our catalogue in 2005-2006.

Guidelines for submitting works can be found by clicking here (http://www.wolfheadmusic.com/submit.htm). The guideliness for the Mandolin Project are the same as for regular submissions with the exception that the review time for this project will be slightly longer. We anticipate making decisions in January 2005 for the works to be accepted for publication.

Wolfhead Music is a small music publishing house that began in 2003. We specialize in early baroque, but we publish works from the 17th-21st centuries. To date all our publications have been for violin, violin & piano, or piano solo, but works for voice & piano and for violin, clarinet & piano are in preparation for a 2005 release. Our plan for 2005 is to begin focusing more on music for mandolin. Submissions may be previously unpublished new works or works in the public domain edited by the submitter. (Please do not submit works currently under copyright unless you are the copyright holder.) Note also that we accept only music in the classical genre (no folk, rock, or bluegrass).

Our current publications are available retail from Ars Nova (http://www.bluemarble.net/~arsnova) in Bloomington, Indiana, and we will sell wholesale to any retail music outlet.

Please consult the submissions guidelines (http://www.wolfheadmusic.com/submit.htm) for further information. Thank you.
