Kentucky serial number

I have a Kentucky mandolin which has "style number" 96070008 on the label. The model number listed below the style number has been marked through and is unreadable.

This instrument is marked made in Korea.

Does anyone have information regarding reading the number in order to determine the year of manufacture and model?
