Truthfully, I don't know. I bought a Fullerton Pennington (bottom of the line) out of curiosity, and the price was right. After tweeking, I found that the volume and sustaining was way beyond expectations. Quality of sound, another matter. The top is visibly solid spruce. I can't tell about the sides and bottom. (Is there a trick?) I wouldn't expect such volume and resonance from a box made up largely of glue/laminate.
Does anyone know 'what woods are these?'
