Its a Fishman and expensive, but the sound byte examples are nice. It does make that ovation pickup type sound more natural. Its exciting and has anyone tried it on their mando piezo pickup yet?? If the guitar model samples sound good then hopefully get rid of all the little bits of equipment to get that plugged in but acoustic sound.

I have been eyeing that same unit. No experience with it, but I am curious to hear if anyone has used one with good results.

I have one to test, but have not had time to play with it yet. I don't know if I will have a chance before IBMA, but I do plan on checking it out very soon. The concept is cool, but we'll see.

I talked to the guys at Fishman and they said that they are in the middle of putting together sopme mandolin patches for it which you may want to wait for. Although they will be downloadable on the website viaq USB when available. I ordered one up for the store so I may know a little more in a couple of weeks. John
