Hey Bob,
Like I said earlier I'm sorry I couldn't make it to Atlanta but I have been able to drive over to Kalamazoo this week. We had a long day of workshops and rehearsals today with Carlo and the Kalamazoo orchestra folks. Tomorrow night the Kalamazoo Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra, along with some folks from Detroit, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Decorah will play a concert at the Baptist church (3125 W. Michigan, 7:30). Carlo will solo on the Vivaldi Concerto in C and a new mandolin concerto written by Elizabeth Start. The orchestra will play several other pieces including a very cool piece by Dayton's James Kellaris called "Kalamazoo Swag".
Anyone who's in the Michigan/Chicago area should consider coming to the show. Good luck with the Atlanta concert and thanks for playing "Cathedral Hill"!
