Fair warning - Kuwahara's music is extremely difficult (very advanced). It makes Calace's preludes look like children's play. You'll need excellent right hand technique including arpeggio technique, duo style, triplet stroke, left hand & right hand pizz. I recommend starting with Jongara. Its long and difficult but not as insane as improvised poem. Also sounds very japanese which is fun.
Trekel.de is the best place for all classical mandolin repertoire.

im not right hand, im left hand :D
im still very far for this type of music, i only play for 3 years, but 3 years with a lot of mistakes, this is the 3rd time i change my playing style, im learning now the double pick way and using the four fingers (i was using only 3 :S)
but the music im interesting its the japanese autumn. i love that music.

Then kof20012, if you like, you can listen to our performance of it.
Facebook page 'The Dutch Mandolin Chamber Orchestra HET CONSORT' where Yasuo Kuwahara's 'The Song of the Japanese Autumn' can be listened at in one long go (ca. 13 minutes). Just scroll down a bit or search under the VIDEO button.

I hope you will enjoy it. The music is published by Vogt & Fritz in Germany:
SONG OF JAPANESE AUTUMN - KUWAHARA Y - 80151 VOGT UND FRITZ: VOGT+1105-P.

That is one of my all-time favorite renditions of this lovely, LOVELY piece of music! It is as "standard repertoire" for plucked orchestras as any piece can ever be— and deserves it, too! Het Consort does a BRILLIANT job with it!
And the Facebook page of Het Consort is a delight, in and of itself; I am deeply honored to be featured on it with one of my works, in a truly wonderful audiovisual presentation of my Hues of Dusk. So few notes that I wrote, SO much heart and soul that these fantastic musicians breathe into this sparse score...
Cheers,
Victor
