I'm looking for the tab for Chris Thile's version of How Great Thou Art. Does anybody have this or know where to get it? Is there a music book for that CD? If there is, I can't find it anywhere.
Thanks for the help
Josh

I picked out a good bit of it by ear last year. I havn't tabbed it out. Most of it is not that difficult, although parts of it are harder. I havn't, but if you sat down with some slow-down software, I'll bet you can get it. If memory serves, it's in D. Good luck!

I've got it, happy to snail-mail you a copy. #Contact me at my email address and I'll send it out. #Sorry my techie skills aren't up to anything more spectacular.
Funny how things catch up to you. HGTA was "just background" in my childhood, since my grandmother played it almost every night on piano when she'd do just one or two songs before turning in. Her evening devotionals, I suppose. Naturally I never paid a shred of attention at the time. She's long gone now. When I heard Chris Thile play it, I was just floored. I could even smell the cookies! #-- #PDW

I haven't heard Thile's version...is it on an album? If so, which one? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif
