I am currently having a 10 String built by UK luthier Paul Shippey http://www.paulshippey.co.uk/10%20string%20mandolins.htm
It will have a Black Top finish as in the pic at the top left hand corner of Pauls page.

Not much to look at yet but I'll add as and when Paul updates me.....
I should mention there is a nice sound sample on Pauls page.....

Thanks, I'll keep you updated. I will get Joel McDermott to do a vid with it once built. I'm not a very good player so couldn't do it justice.....

The Black Lacquer has gone on the top, Paul says about four weeks away now.....

Man oh man, that's going to be a real beauty! Great choice of woods, top color, rosette, binding, etc. -- it all comes together nicely. :mandosmiley:

Picking it up on Thursday Jill, it's too good for me!!!!! I can't wait to get it.........it's torture!!!!!
