[B] I thought the decor covering the tailpiece was a nice touch on this one-just showing it to you-not bidding on it or anything!fancy! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10179&item=3747917258&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)

Yeah, I love the bowlback-style built-in armrests, they make it rather more comfortable to play. This one has an extended fingerboard, a zero fret, and Calace-style peghead, all cool options.

mysticfaery:
Why do all your posts start with [B]? Are you trying to make everything bold?

I've been hitting the bold button but it just shows a b on the posted message-http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

You have the "close" the tag by hitting the bold button again after you are done. it should look like this.

BTW no need to bother... we can hear you fine in unemphasized type. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Save it for words you want to stress.

Nice and I may be wrong but my guess is (don't know if it's got a label)that it is an early Suzuki (1960'perhaps)..I've had a couple of similar one's. You notice the two raised dots on each side of the bridge which seems to be very common on The Suzuki instruments, as is (as Bob A points out) the Calace style peg head.

Ian

no label on it,the seller says-would you consider it a decent one to bid on? It's a 1960?
