Help!
I've got a Morgan Monroe MCM-TB "Mandy", with the "Vine of Life" inlay fret board. My question is, does this make fret replacement more difficult? They are starting to wear, and I am wondering if I should consider selling this mando before it becomes a nightmare? It sounds really great and I was hoping to keep it till I can get enough funds to purchase a Gibson F5G. All input will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Steve http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

unless you're getting buzzing, just keep playing it

refrets are no more difficult with the inlay... unless you need to have the fretboard trued. In that case, the inlays are probably only .050 thick, and it may be far easier/cheaper actualy plane them off and reslot, than do a removal and replacement.
