All of Tom's mandolins are eye candy. You won't find a more beautiful mandolin IMO.

That's the price these days. $4800 for a wonderful mandolin. The natural top is very pretty, but so are Tom's other finishes. I need to go by Fiddler's and try it out.

Unless Tom just delivered another one, that one is gone, it sold within two days of his delivering it to the store a couple of weeks ago.

I would advise you give Clay or Ben a call at the store so they can let you when one shows up if you ever want to get to see one. Sometimes they get bought within minutes of delivery.

Not surprised it went in 2 days. I stopped in last Thursday and didn't see either Ellis. Ellis A's have sold at Fiddlers within 2 hours. I need to tell Clay to let me know when the oval hole shows up and then be quick about getting over there.
Of course, right now I have also been looking at a sweet Loar era snakehead A he has on consignment. Choices, choices...

Actually, Ellis A's have sold to people who were in the store when Tom got there with them who didn't even know that they needed a mandolin. So the quickest sale is down to 45 mins from time of delivery to out the door.
