Its usually pie and peas. Yorkshire pudding is traditionally eaten before the meal with onion gravy. As is said in those parts "You can always tell a Yorkshireman but you can't tell him much."

My Gram, from London, would make Yorkshires with the roast beef "drippin's"
and they would get a mile high. ( Been trying for 40 years to duplicate that w/o any success. ) and serve them with the meal.
