9 headstocks have had the maker name removed, can you successfuly identify who made them? The winner could henceforth be called 'head-master of the café' #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Click here (http://www.grandmainger.com/poll/) to open the image, with a link to the submission form. Please don't post your guesses here, so that other people can still play. I'll be posting the standings here, so don't forget to leave you café name.
Have fun! #http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif
PS: there are some Gibsons in there, I need you to tell me which period they're from!

I was going to re-submit my answers because I tought I had #8 wrong.

You did not ask viewers to give the model and year of mandolins, only the maker. I have resubmitted my answers along with the correct answer to the mysterious #8.

Once I put the right Gibson periods I shot to 8/9! I just resubmitted, too, and hopefully I got #8 right this time...

Ken, you guessed very rightly gibson-wise... http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif
But I'm afraid your #8 is still not right http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif I ran a little Scroll Guessing contest some time ago, but it was over a lot quicker, since people seem to know their scrolls a lot better than their headstock!
I reckon the next one will be for pickguards... or maybe tailpieces http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
