I'll post this here too. Do any of you know if the hole pattern on the Eastman tailpiece is the standard Gibson spacing? Lp

I should know this but I'm afraid I don't. My instinct tells me that it probably isn't or, if it is it's a remarkable coincidence.
The guys at Mandolin Brothers might be able to tell you since they have access to both Gibson and Eastman mandos.
I will ask around and get you a definitive answer soon.
