I emailed the owner and asked if they would consider a "buy it now" option. Came back with $3500 and the mando is now located in the UK, not wisconsin.
Description is lifted right from the Elderly web site
They also sent me pictures that were lifted directly from the Elderly sight.

What happens to the bidder when he does something like this ... bidding $250,000 dollars on something and has no intention of paying? Does ebay freak out?
"Does ebay freak out?"
Naaaaa, I'm from Texas & Ebay knows that $250K is just front pocket money in Texas........ http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Careful, I'm sure Chris would gladly accept your front pocket money...
