This morning I got a message that said "Mike, just how big is that large Mandolin Cafe Mug (http://www.cafepress.com/73987.419136176) that Scott has for sale on the home page?" I didn't know but I was able to do a little research and this picture should give you an idea.

I'm thinking I'll put the mug on its side and let the kids use it as a fort.
Does the mando come with the mug?

Reads like at 15 Fl Oz, that's a bit short of a pint, standard weights and measures fans.
especially when you have space for the half and half reserved in the top .

I'll hafta get a bigger car to haul it in!

A regular coffee cup, at least the ones in my kitchen, are 3 3/4" tall. This over-sized one is just over 4 1/2". Hadn't really thought about it until just now, but I'd guess one might be able to get an entire bottle of beer in the larger size. May have to this theory later tonight.

If the comparison icon is right, it's almost enough for mornings.

Dang, Scott, that's what the steins are for! You've got the design available on both sized mugs, but no steins? Tsk, tsk..... :))

For UK folk 15 fluid oz is 3/4 of a pint, as our pint is 20 fluid oz.

Put it in terms we understand...is it mandola sized or octave mandolin sized?

I use mine to haul water from the river when not using it to drink hot coco as I don't drink coffee! :mandosmiley:

My wife drinks coffee from what can only be described as 'over-size' mugs. As in, I'll go to get coffee from the pot in the morning, and there will be a splash left in the bottom of it. "But I only had two cups!" she'll say. Two 20-ounce (or more) cups! :disbelief:
This might be the type of mug she'd use!

And here I thought that Hollywood already gave us insights about "Keeping Up With The Steins"...oh, different Steins!
And as far as the picture that started it all, well, there was a time when that was the amount of coffee I had from revellie until noon chow. All that was missing from the photoshop job was the diving board!

A pair of mugs like this (minus the Cafe logo) were one of our most treasured wedding gifts. Once my dog went for a swim in one of them. I miss that dog.

We are planning to use ours as a hot tub as soon as we figure out how to install the whirlpool jets in it.

"...our pint is 20 fluid oz."
Really? Boy, life sure is good on the other side of the pond.
Did that beer fit in the mug? Inquiring minds want to know.
