Friday, Michelle Nixon - hot band, good vocals; Larry Sparks - the Eddie Munster of grass did a fine show, was presented with a letter from Dave Freeman of Rebel Records and a plaque for his 40 years in the business.
Saturday, Blueridge. The band is great, and Alan was on fire. He played his new Gibson for set 1, his July 9 for set 2. He and I did the Dawg in the dressing room before his 2nd set. He took the neck finish off the Bibey model and it played real good. He can tenor anything.
