Well, it's Christmas time, and although I've finally found work, I've been un/underemployed for most of the year. Since I'm pretty broke still, I'm not able to spend much on anybody but my daughter. Instead I decided to give out something that only I can give: a goofy comedy song.

So here's the rough cut of it (not that I think it will get much better with extra effort, but I might work on it a little more and dub in other instruments... or maybe not). You fine folk at the Cafe get it as my early Christmas present. One size fits all, no returns or exchanges. :mandosmiley:

Snow Song
by Matt DeBlass

Way up north where the cold winds blow
they say they've got 99 words for snow
but I'm gonna guess they've got a couple more
they use when they've gotta shovel out their front door

Chorus:
And I'm tired of my shovel
Tired of my boots
tired of dressing up in my old snow suit
And I tell you friend
it makes me want to cry
when I finish my driveway
just as the plow comes by

One of these days when I've got the dough
I'm going to head south where there is no snow
spend my days lying on the shore
in Southern California or maybe Flor...
...ida

Chorus

If you come by and you don't see me
after another big drop in the mercury
I haven't left, not I have not gone
I'm under that big pile of snow on my front lawn

Chorus
