That's a much brighter and larger burst than my '05. Very nice. Keep the screws tight on those Grover buttons. They tend to loosen.

Glad you took for in the right spirit. Seriously, congrats on what should be a great first instrument. Sure beats the old Ibanez I started on.

Ive thought about Jam Modles but everytime i play them they sound the same or less to the f5g but they are just simple and plain.

Its my third mandolin but its the best by far.
I started out on a Mid-Missouri hen had a Washburn Jethro Burns and now Have my beloved gibson F5G
