Just listened to the mp3 of the day - Butch Baldassari playing "Carolan's Concerto", absolutely lovely stuff. Anyone know what mandolin Butch uses on that track? It sounds the business.

That makes me miss Butch all over again. My guess is that he was playing his Gilchrist F5C, voiced/built for classical music, but it could also be his "unsigned Loar." That tone is all Butch, though, no matter which mandolin he was playing.
