Nice collection of images here (http://www.mandolincafe.com/archives/postcards/)!
I particularly like the images where no attempt is made to disguise the painted "scenery" backdrops. Kind of postmodern.
There are at least two images of the English actress Zena Dare, who, according to a wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zena_Dare), played Mrs. Higgins in the original London production of My Fair Lady. I suppose there is at leas a small chance that she actually played the mandolin.
