View Full Version : Mandolin cd's chosen over cd player.
Hey guys,
#Well I no longer have any mando cds. Seems that lastnight someone decided to break into my car and take 100 of my cd's. Every single mando cd I had collected over the past 10 years. But get this, They left the brand new cd player alone. I would have really much rather the cd player be theived. Isn that wierd? Please let me know if you see alot of mando cds sold on the classifieds.

Will definitely keep an eye out for anything suspicious, GDAE Boy. Sorry for your loss, what a bummer.
I forgot to mention, that the spare keys were in the glove box of car too. We got a real mando fan on our hands here. Hehehe

I know exactly what you mean. Some years ago, I got done the same way with about 20 of my favourite CDs, and the player was untouched.
One thing I learnt from that though: only keep CDR copies of your CDs in the car... It's too easy a prey.
Germain
Germain you got that right.
A friend of mine, Mindy Smith gave me her first Demo back when we had both moved to Nashville in 1998. Thats one that I'll miss. She doesnt even have a copy of it anymore.
So yes cdr's it is from here on.....

Next time leave your Brunk in your car, so they rather steal your mando rather than your cd's
Yeh but then theyd be Brunk driving.
I cant believe they didnt take the cd player.

PLEASE don't let them steal the Brunk!!!
Then we'd have to start all over with all the "Hey, I really love my new Brunk" threads!! http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Jeremy! Give 'em back!!!! Bad! Bad!!

Is there a way to send you my iTunes files - or is that stealing music ?

A lawyer would probably say it is, but it sounds like the kind of stealing that probably won't bother anyone else's conscience.

Once, while in Art school, my car got broken into in the deep of Winter. They took about $2.50 in spare change and a gallon of windshield washer fluid, but left my entire portfolio. I guess I was relieved and humiliated at the same time.

Leave a Banjo in your car, nobody will break into it then.
Seriously though, that sucks.... hope you get them back.
