Anyone know of a good internet source for odering picks? I really like using the heavy Fender 551 jazz pick...can't find it around town anymore.

Google is the obvious place to start...however, all of these sites eventually direct you to Musicians Friend, who no longer carries this pick.

Bad news. Even Fender doesn't have them.
I do the Fender accessory ordering for my stores, and they have no stock of any of the 551JZ series in any gauge, which probably means they will discontinue them.
I used the 551JZ in the Premium (Abalone) series myself until they discontinued them three years ago. I thought they would at least keep the shell going, but it doesn't look like it.
You might want to consider the Dunlop Tortex Black Gold Standard (488 series) or the Dunlop Tortex Black Gold Jazz (482 series). Pictures are here: Dunlop Tortex (http://jimdunlop.com/products/picks/products/tortex/index.html) They aren't the celluloid you're used to, but they are close in shape, and Tortex doesn't wear as much.
There's also the Dunlop Nylon (http://jimdunlop.com/products/picks/products/nylon/index.html) series.
It's a bummer having to change picks when you find one you like, but I think your 551JZ sources are likely to dwindle even further.
I feel your pain!

I can get the John Pearse Jazz picks if interested, they have 2 styles:
The classic teardrop shape, cut with a die from the 1920s
or:
Studio-Patented asymmetrical shape featuring both plain profiles of the Jazz Pick plus a third intermediate profile.

Thanks guys. I used to use the Dunlop Tortex Jazz 472 (green)...liked the shape...may try the Black Gold. The feel of Fender's shell was what drew me to the 551 though. Time to go pick huntn'
