These guys are awesome. They do all heavy metal tunes arranged for cellos. No strict mandolin content, but it would be awesome to work these out for mandocello, OM, and mandolin.

We had a cello at our OT jam at Lake Genero last a couple of weekends ago. It was awesome.
One of cellists played plucked bass lines - ver nice. But before that we had a cello player who played melody and that was awesome.

Maybe just me, but I keep thinking that there are certain Slayer songs that (instrumentally,no vocals) would sound good on a Mandolin. And yea these cats are good.

Ive been listen'd to Apocalyptica for a long time. Saw recently that they are teaming up with vocalists and putting words to some what appears to be orginals, Gavin Rossdale and I cant recall his name and to lazy to look it up but the guy from Stone Sour/Sliptknot.
Rmad....Regin in Blood would be insane on a mandolin.
