John Fogerty's new album "The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again" was released a few days ago. I just gave it a quick listen on Rhapsody, and it has mandolin on five of the twelve tunes. Besides John playing several instruments it includes
Buddy Miller (guitar), Greg Leisz (pedal and lap steel, mandolin and dobro), Jason Mowery (fiddle, mandolin and dobro) and Kenny Aronoff (drums). Other than the intro to John Prine's "Paradise", the mandolin not featured prominently.

Pretty good band there, though I've not heard of Jason Mowery before. I see he's toured with Keith Urban and last year got married to Jessica Harp, Michelle Branch's partner in The Wreckers. Fogerty was on Letterman last night, though I dozed off - of all nights! :crying: Scheduled appearance Tuesday on Jimmy Fallon.

I can play "Bad Moon Rising" & "Runt Through The Jungle" (chords) on Mandolin - maybe i could get me a job ??,
Ivan
PS - I just noticed RUNT though the jungle - that's me,that's me !!,:))~:>

Is it worth grabbing? How's it sound?
