Spinning in the player, all I can say is ...Awesome!
The band is truly a cohesive unit, with wonderful songs and groove. Alan Bibey is certainly on top of his game, with the drive and little flourishes which characterize his style and make him one of the very best out there. All of the lead instruments shine big time, with no grand-standing or muddiness (no 'too much') in the production.
There is a certain feel that the band gets which is hard to describe, but sets these fellows way apart from the herd. Maybe it's a one-ness, with the song as the most important thing to deliver. Doyle Lawson's band has a similar deal going on, but Grasstowne seems to really have the totality aspect down, in spades! And what you see is what you get - they surely will sound very much like their recordings when seen live.
